2nd knitting project of 2014...and stupid things I found on the internet

cable knit ear warmers

I think I said two weeks ago, "I promise another knitting post next week."  Then it didn't happen...until now. Maybe you're wondering, "Isn't that the same thing you made in your first post?" Yes, it is. Except this time it was made with this pretty yarn. Isn't that color amazing?  And this time it's not for me; it's for my sister.  Yes, I am finally getting to the point of creating things pretty enough to gift to other people.

Want to make this yourself? The link to the pattern is in my first blog post ever  Click here for the link to my first post. The yarn is Patons classic wool yarn in worsted weight, and the color is called Jade Heather.

P.S.  Posting these things makes me feel like I'm bragging about my craftiness or something, but I am really not.  It's quite the opposite, really.  It's more of a "Holy crap, I didn't know I had it in me" kind of post.  Also, it's me saying, "If I can do it, so can you."

Are you bored with this talk about knitting?  Here are some things that made me laugh this week....

The placement of the straw is just a tad inappropriate.

Cake, anyone?
I think this is the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Someone tweeted this with the caption "Photo of Justin Bieber being arrested was released today."

    1. Ha ha thanks Tom. It's actually a headband, but it's kind of hard to tell from the picture. Oh, and thanks for the Buzz Lightyear cup inspiration. I'm still thinking about buying a few of those and gifting them to people for Valentine's Day.
